  • Leadership Training – we’ve developed many leadership training programs, all of which can be customized to address some of the unique challenges faced by leaders of non—profit agencies. They can be tailored for professional staff or for board members.
  • Leadership coaching – helping supervisors and managers solve tough problems and improve their skills as leaders. For small non-profit agencies we are willing to provide a small discount and / or help you set up a collaborative group coaching effort to keep your costs low.
  • Strategic planning – facilitating a process that makes sense for non-profit agencies.
  • Fiscal management – We provide training and consulting in financial management delivered in plain English.  We can help you with budgeting, bookkeeping basics, reading financial reports, working with a treasurer/finance committee and developing internal controls. We can provide direct bookkeeping as well.
  • Grant writing
    • We can train your staff to write better grants.
    • We can partner with them as editors to coach them as they write grants.
    • We can write the grants for you.
  • Board development – we can provide formal training, informal coaching and facilitate board development discussions. We can help you develop strategies for board recruitment, board/staff relations, board orientation/role clarification and committee development.
  • Evaluation and assessment – we can help you conduct needs assessments and design practical evaluation tools for assessing program accomplishments.

Alan Krieger, President of Krieger Solutions, LLC has over 30 years experience working with non-profit agencies. He began his career as a program staff in community based agencies. By writing grants, he expanded the program to 12 staff and became a manager. He later became Executive Director of a statewide organization. During his years as a consultant he has worked with many non-profits and served as interim Executive Director of an agency as it went through reorganization.

As a result of these experiences and the experiences of our other trainers and consultants, Krieger Solutions, LLC is able to offer services customized to the non-profit context.
